    Thank you for the explanation, I purchased the Power Plate to increase bone density, I thought that vibration needs to travel through the heals to transfer to the lumbar spine in order to improve bone, could you clarify? Thanks

    Are you takking about the support cushion ? Yes it has 2 cushions in one. A slim mat and a cushion leveled at your power plate MOVE 😊

    Thank you Sylvie for your helpful information. I have a vibration plate that I have used a few times and I’ve always felt really good afterwards. However, I’m doing other things in the house like moving furniture and then I’m having symptoms of left sided sensations with headache and I think it’s my neck… Also, my carotid feels full and with my head feeling different. I don’t think I should get on that vibration plate so I wait until I am rested and don’t have those symptoms anymore and now I can get on a little bit at a time.

      To prevent vibrations traveling in your head, try to keep a slight bent in your knee and load the ball of your feet instead the heels. I would not want to speculate about the sensations that you have after using the platform. You should seek information from a treating physician that can identify what cause these discomfort with imagery of your neck and educated opinion on what can be the root cause. Massage will not affect your neck area if you lay down or seat in a chair with both legs or feet on the Power Plate. Let me know if this is helpful.

    Thank you so much Sylvie! Addressed many of my thoughts as I jump into using my Power Plate! Another question...will the new platform mat work with other power plate models?

      The mat is only used to protect your skin against the roughness of the anti slip surface on top of the Power Plate. I have a Power Plate My7 model mat on my MOVE because it is a thicker mat. Also you can get a double tap velcro to anchor it on top of your Power Plate so it does not slide off when vibrating.

      The Deluxe Mat works well with Move , My5, My7 models it does not work with Personal model which is the lowest to the ground platform. There is another cushion for that.

      it is better to complete your rehabilitation program and ask your treating physician is you are clear to resume normal physical activity. Passive stimuli on the Power Plate is like a gentle taping technique. It promotes blood flow in the area and speed up recovery.

    Thank you, Sylvie. I am doing this daily. I’m now able to stand on the Power Plate to reset my balance and keep my eyes closed for the whole minute. I was not able to do that at the beginning. It really does work!
